SBP reserves rise $43.4m to $17.19bn

The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $43.4 million or 0.25% WoW to $17.19 billion during the week ended on May 29, 2026, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

On the other hand, the country’s total reserves decreased by $10.5m or 0.05% WoW to $22.64bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $53.9m or 0.98% WoW to $5.45bn.
