Rashid Langrial informed following details regarding crackdown against illegal economic activities

As a result of actions against electricity theft, we witnessed increase in direct recoveries and positive change in behavior of people. Also, theft gets reduced and payment profile of defaulters becomes better. • Only in September, we recovered 14 Billion rupees, improved payment profile of Rs 7 Billion and reduced electricity theft of 5 Billion rupees. So, in total we recovered approximately 26 Billion rupees. • Now, we have received statistics of October as well. According to these statistics, we recorded recoveries of 20 Billion rupees. By the 11th or 12th of this month; we will get report of the indirect benefits we have received as result of these actions.

• Our financial month closes on the 20th of every month, and we are expecting a recovery of nearly 30 billion rupees. In total, we have recovered approximately 60 billion rupees as a result of action against illegal economic activities.
