The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has taken a significant step to improve the payment system in Pakistan’s agricultural sector. Fatima Fertilizer, a prominent company, and JazzCash, Pakistan’s largest digital wallet, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to digitize payments for farmers.

This collaboration aims to empower farmers economically, especially those without access to local banks, by providing secure, fast, and reliable transactions. The partnership will enable digital payments through the Sarsabz Pakistan Farmer App.

Major Initiative to Digitize Pakistan’s Agricultural Payment Systems! #SIFC has facilitated an #MoU between Fatima Fertilizer & JazzCash to transform payment systems for #farmers.

JazzCash’s digital payment solution will offer farmers access to financial services previously out of their reach. This initiative is expected to promote trust between farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector while ensuring secure transactions.

The Director of Marketing at Fatima Fertilizer stated, “This partnership with JazzCash is a crucial step towards transforming the agricultural payment ecosystem. By providing digital financial tools to farmers, who are the backbone of our economy, we are not only increasing their participation in economic growth but also contributing to the country’s overall economic development.”
