52 MoUs, agreements signed at B2B business conference

LAHORE – As many as 52 MoUs and trade agreements were signed between Pakistani and Chinese companies to further strengthen Pakistan-China industrial and commercial relations.
China Business-to-Business Conference held at a local hotel in the presence of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar Khan. The conference was attended by 105 representatives from 74 Chinese companies and 242 representatives from 136 Pakistani companies. In the home appliances sector, 15 MoUs were signed, bringing the largest investment in this sector to up to $40 million. Similarly, 10 important agreements were reached in the electrical sector, with the largest deal valued at $60 million, according to Gwadar Pro. In the battery storage sector, 27 agreements and MoUs were signed, with the largest investment recorded at $82 million. Negotiations are also ongoing on 40 additional MoUs at the Pakistan-China Business-to-Business Conference, creating new opportunities for industrial cooperation.
