In a first, FBR collects Rs1tr in a month

For the first time in the country’s history, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made history by crossing the Rs1 trillion mark in a single month.

According to the Board, Rs1,021 billion was collected in December 2023 and reached net collection of Rs984 billion after adjusting refunds of Rs38 billion issued during the month.
