Pakistan, Qatar reaffirm commitment to joint education initiatives

Pakistan-Qatar relations saw renewed focus on strengthening cooperation in the education sector, with both sides agreeing to expand collaboration in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), skill development initiatives, and academic exchange programs.
The discussions emphasized the shared commitment to equipping youth with market-relevant skills and enhancing human resource development through international partnerships, APP reported.
Pakistan’s Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, met with Ali Al Khater at the Qatar Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, including institutional linkages, joint initiatives, scholarships, and capacity-building programs.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Qatar’s interest in deepening educational ties with Pakistan, while both sides concluded with a shared commitment to further expand cooperation in education and professional training.
