Pakistan, US explore gaming industry tie-up

Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, convened on Wednesday to explore avenues for bolstering cooperation in the IT and telecommunication sector.

During their discussions, they delved into various areas of mutual interest within the IT and telecommunication landscape, including Pakistan’s ongoing efforts towards digitalizing its judicial system and the burgeoning potential of the gaming industry, as outlined in official statements.

Ambassador Blome reiterated the United States’ keenness to broaden collaboration in the information technology sector, acknowledging Pakistan’s significant potential for growth in the digital economy. He emphasized the pivotal role of US firms in driving investment and fostering innovation within the sector.
