SBP reserves rise $24.8m to $17.22bn

The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $24.8 million or 0.14% WoW to $17.22 billion during the week ended on June 05, 2026, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country’s total reserves increased by $35.7m or 0.16% WoW to $22.67bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $10.9m or 0.20% WoW to $5.46bn.
In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $2.71bn or 18.71%.
Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $1.16bn or 7.11%.
